There is a huge difference. I'm a developer so I'll be biased about this, but there is some logic here.

Website designers are typically graphic artists/designers. They make things look good, and assist in the layout. A web developer makes the site work, and function with all the resources, and in all the web browsers. A developer may even hire a web designer to help finish off the look and feel of the site.

SPAM! UGH!

We all get it, all day long. Spam now accounts for well over 90% of email sent around the world. That doesn't mean we are not sending much mail, because we are in a very huge way. It's just that spammers are prolific, and it wasn't that hard to be that prevalant. A few scripts and a spammer an proliferate the net with mindless junk. It's not going to go away, at least not completely. In fact the powers that be have even suggested that perhaps we will pay for every mail sent! YIKES!! Let's hope it does not go that way.

Here is how I deal with email, and the 15 unique email accounts I run with:

Vista and XP

  1. Go to your control panel (start>>control panel)
  2. Locate the Regional and language Options launch it
  3. The Regional and Language Options window opens, Choose KEYBOARDS and LANGUAGE
  4. SELECT CHANGE KEYBOARD.
  5. The TEXT SERVICES AND INPUT LANGUAGES opens, Delete them all EXCEPT-US in the drop down list
  6. Select OK
